OrderFlow 3PL adds a new dimension to OrderFlow’s powerful reporting capability by providing scheduled reports delivered to third parties.
The OrderFlow reporting framework makes it easy to define custom reports and to run them automatically. This can be used to produce daily, weekly or monthly summary reports and can also be used to notify clients of occassional situations that need their attention.
Some examples of automated reports:
- A single “End of day summary” email containing separate spreadsheets with details of deliveries, returns, orders processed, stock adjustments and the closing stock position.
- Weekly report showing the SKUs where the available quantity has dropped below the reorder threshold.
- Occasional email notification if a client order fails courier validation (invalid postcode etc.), prompting the recipient to amend the order delivery details themselves.
- Occasional email notification when an order meets the client criteria for orders that require manual approval before being progressed. The recipient can then access OrderFlow directly to review the order before releasing it to start the despatch process.
For the fulfilment house, this capability provides a great tool for keeping their customers up to date with fulfilment activity. It’s totally hands free, since once set up the reports will run automatically.
